Affinitum is a story told through poems, written through dialogues between seekers and an unfolding pantheon of gods. It explores the dominion of deities and the role of humanity in the divine. This page will offer details of the cast and the gods we’ve met along the way, but for an in depth understanding of how these characters meet, interact, and achieve their goals you will have to read them for yourself.

I hope you enjoy this journey, the verse, the whimsey and mystery of this all. It is a different kind of undertaking than what I’ve done before, and I’m very excited to share the beginning of it with a release of the first two poems.

Seekers:

Bully – They/Them, 21, Artist, seeking the blessing of Permanence.

Wayward – She/Her, 38, Tech Support , seeking the blessing of Tides.

Pantheon:

Teoull – god of the mountain, stone, and earth. Remains at the top of one peak in the Rocky Mountains. He is even handed and steadfast, offering a point of reliability to his devotees. No matter what goes wrong, Teoull remains unchanged. Antithesis to Huanma.

Huanma – god of the sea, depths, rivers and water cycle. She promotes any and all who are willing to change, be flexible, and never settling. There’s always work to be done. Those who cannot keep up with her wind up boring or losing her favor. Antithesis to Teoull.
